Refund Policy
At Pure Labrador Retrievers, we want every family to feel confident when reserving and welcoming a Labrador puppy into their home. This refund policy explains how reservations, cancellations, health-related concerns, and refunds are handled for our puppies in Canada.
📌 Reservation Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a puppy.
This deposit confirms your commitment and ensures your chosen puppy is held exclusively for you.
The deposit also helps cover early care, feeding, preparation, communication, and reservation arrangements.
If you change your mind, stop communication, or fail to complete the purchase within the agreed timeframe, the deposit will be forfeited.
❌ Cancellations & Change of Mind
If you cancel before the puppy is ready to leave, no cash refund will be given for the reservation deposit.
At our discretion, your deposit may be transferred to a future litter or another available puppy.
Cancellations made after full payment may qualify for a partial refund, minus any costs already incurred for care, paperwork, preparation, transportation, or holding the puppy.
No refunds are given for personal reasons, change of mind, family disagreements, housing issues, allergies discovered after purchase, or failure to collect/receive your puppy within the agreed timeframe.
🩺 Health-Related Refunds
All our puppies come with a 30-day Health Guarantee.
If a licensed veterinarian in Canada identifies a serious life-threatening genetic or congenital condition within this period, Pure Labrador Retrievers may offer one of the following:
A replacement puppy from an upcoming litter, or
A partial refund, or
A full refund, depending on the situation and supporting documents.
A written report from a licensed veterinarian is required before any refund or replacement decision is made.
We may request a second veterinary opinion before confirming any refund or replacement.
📋 Important Notes
Refunds are not provided for health issues caused by neglect, accident, injury, poor diet, unsafe environment, improper care, exposure to illness, or failure to follow basic puppy care instructions after the puppy leaves our care.
Refunds are not given for minor, treatable, or common puppy conditions such as worms, fleas, mild stomach upset, stress from travel, or temporary adjustment issues.
Transportation, delivery, shipping, travel, and handling fees are non-refundable under any circumstance.
All refund and replacement decisions are handled case-by-case, with the puppy’s welfare as our top priority.
This policy may be applied in line with applicable Canadian and provincial consumer protection rules where required.
